It has a wave pool, whirlpool, sauna, physiotherapy clinic, Douvris martial arts, pro shop, restaurant and coffee shop.

For your outdoor recreation needs, Millennium Sports Park is a 34 hectare sports and recreational complex. It consists of 15 soccer and football fields located close to the Innes Road and Trim Road intersection. It is the home of the Ottawa TFC soccer club and the Cumberland Panthers football club!

Orleans has many scenic natural areas with a number of beautiful nature trails and paths to explore. The most popular is Petrie Island, a stunning area of natural beauty situated along the Ottawa River, which is home to a variety of unique wildlife and provincially rare flora and fauna. Situated in the north-east area of Orleans, the Petrie Island park area has a natural beach and nature centre. The Shenkman Arts Centre, a multidisciplinary arts centre, was opened in 2009 and houses two theatres, seven galleries and 17 studios. Operated by the City of Ottawa. The centre has a diverse offering of programs and activities and above all, offers them in both English and French. These include live performances, hands-on instruction, exhibits and special events.

Shopping

Orleans is home to the Place d’Orleans shopping centre. A large enclosed mall with 130 stores, a food court, and gym. Firstly, it is also the main OC Transpo hub in the east end of Ottawa. It even has a station connecting local routes to the Transit-way. Secondly, it has a passenger bridge from Place d’Orleans station to a park and ride facility on the opposite side of Regional Road 174.
