Westboro is a vibrant and diverse area, nestled between the Ottawa River to the north, Island Park Drive to the east, Highway 417 to the south, and Churchill Avenue to the west. Westboro is bordered with the Ottawa River to the north, Island Park Drive to the east, Highway 417 to the south, and Churchill Avenue to the west. This prime location means you can easily reach Westboro via any of these major roads, or take the Kirkwood Ave/Carling Ave exit off the 417.
If you prefer to avoid the highway, head east on Wellington Street West, which turns into Somerset Street taking you into Ottawa’s downtown core. Continue south on Kirkwood Avenue past the highway, where it merges with Merivale Road taking you north until it hits Prince of Wales Drive taking you into Barrhaven, or travel west on Richmond Road which takes you through Bells Corners, Kanata, and Stittsville until it merges onto Highway 7 meaning you can drive from Westboro to the Greater Toronto Area with minimal turns. Whether you’re driving or exploring on foot, getting to Westboro is a breeze.
